Pinus nigra nigra, black pine, austrian pine; Large fast growing tree up to 20-25m high. Deeply furrowed black-grey decorative bark. Dark green needles in pairs of 2. Pendulous cones. Does not tolerate hard surfaces. Use as a solitary in gardens and parks.
